Online Watercolor Painting Demonstration

A small composition created as a demo for my Watercolor Mastery class. The composition will be the basis of my colorful painting demo in February.

I’ll be doing an online painting demo as part of my Virtual Open Studio on Saturday, February 21st, 2026.

I have a Watercolor Mastery class that, among other things, meets online once a month. Last months online class featured a demo on composition that resulted in the thumbnail value composition above.

Since it’s winter and we could all use a taste of summer, my Open Studio demo will turn this thumbnail composition into a colorful painting.

The demo is just one of three events planned for the virtual open studio event. The other two are a virtual studio tour with the presentation and discussion about a currently available collection of winter landscape scenes
